This has nothing whatsoever to do with fabric...BUT months ago my sister gave me a few tips on how to make wedges yummier and since then there's been hot demand for them. It's so simple that it seems silly to post it here but I didn't quite pick up on the obvious for years either...so....
1. Wash Your Potatoes. Leave the Skins on
2. Cut your potatoes into wedges.
3. Add flour, olive oil and all manner of seasonings you feel like. Garlic, mixed herbs, morroccan seasons, pepper, salt, stock powders etc. Whatever takes your fancy. Don't hold back, to get any serious flavor you really need to pop loads in. As to how much flour and oil...that depends on you. But the flour and oil are what makes them nice and crunchy. I tend to put in about half a cup of flour to about 8 medium potatoes and just enough oil to coat the flour on the wedges. Experiment.
4. Cook wedges on tray in oven. And please please cook them long enough to not leave them soggy, especially if you're inviting me for dinner.... ;o) Another idea is to pop grated cheese over the wedges for the last 5 minutes of baking in the oven.
5. Serve with sour cream, sweet chilli and whatever else takes your fancy.
